A word about our wait list.  At many camps getting on the wait list means the camp is completely full and you might get a spot if someone cancels. At Anokijig it is a little different. Our camp grew over the last 99 seasons by adding cabins and sections; but not all of the same size.  Hence we don’t always have the same age group in the same facility week to week we fit groups in where they fit. We leave registration open online until we are about 90% full for a session. Then we start the wait list while we are figuring out where the age groups fit best for that particular week.  Then we contact the folks on the wait list that can fit in each group. Moral is: early wait-listed people at Anokijig usually get a spot. So if you see “wait list”, especially early in the spring, please add your self to the list! Then watch your email for the notice that we’ve hopefully found your child a spot!
