The Camp Anokijig Volunteer Corp of Engineers

Anokijig’s motto, “We serve,” is exemplified by the efforts of its hundreds of dedicated volunteers who contribute to the community each year.
Volunteers play a vital role in helping Anokijig achieve its goal of providing exceptional fun while instilling positive values. Various volunteer opportunities are available throughout the year, including weekend volunteer events, work projects, and fundraisers.
Volunteers can arrive anytime after 6:00 pm on Friday’s. We ask that regardless of when you arrive you’re ready to go, in Western Lodge, by 7:45 am for breakfast on Saturday Mornings!
Saturday’s work typically runs from 8 am to 5:30 pm, followed by cleanup after dinner. Saturday evenings are reserved for completing homework, relaxing, and socializing with other volunteers.
On Sunday, volunteers work until noon, followed by lunch, cleanup, and departure no later than 2 pm.
Even if you are only available for a part of the weekend, please reach out to Anokijig. They will do their best to accommodate your schedule.
Transportation to and from camp is provided each weekend via two different routes: one to Madison and the other south through Milwaukee, Kenosha, and all the way to the Lake Forest Oasis.
Anokijig aims to have two volunteers from each route to ensure cost-effective transportation. The volunteer coordinator, Calvin, will communicate with you before the end of the day on Thursday to confirm transportation details.

Each weekend will count as a total of 25 hours community service.

If you would like to volunteer, choose a weekend from the options provided below to get started.
