Prepare to get “down and dirty” in nearby caves that began as natural holes in bedrock, formed by ancient groundwater and glacial meltwater. After breakfast at Camp, we’ll head to Ledgeview Nature Center in Chilton, WI.

A Park Naturalist will guide us on our journey down below the surface. As we crawl 60 feet underground, navigating around cave obstacles, we will learn how these natural phenomena were formed. When we resurface to the ground above, we will be caked in cave mud, a great exfoliant for the skin!

We’ll return to Camp in time for lunch and the rest of the day’s activities.
