In addition to resident Camp throughout the summer we offer specialty programming each week that would supplement part of your child's day and offer
Ranch
Grades 7 and up & Only available in “Traditional Program Style”
Spend your skill time down at our Broken Circle A Ranch learning horse care and riding. Each participant gets their own horse to ride and care for with close staff supervision. Your week will be filled with lessons, ring work, trail rides, games, and special events. Riding lessons take place both in the ring and on the trail, building confidence and skills. You’ll also have plenty of time for all the other activities Anokijig offers.
Circle A
Grades 4 through 6 & Only available in “Traditional Program Style”
This program is for younger campers who want to spend their time with our horses. Just as with the Ranch program, these campers will get to go on trail-rides, play games, and learn how to take care of these beautiful animals. Circle-A is held in the afternoons, so these campers will get to attend morning skill periods, too!
Fishing Expeditions
Grades 6 and Up
Sessions: 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8
Whether you’re an experienced angler or just want to learn the basics, this camp is the perfect way to spend your summer. When you’re not wetting a line, you’ll get to enjoy all the classic fun and activities of our regular Resident Camp program. Highlights of the Fishing Expedition Specialty Camps include: Night Fishing, Intro to Fly Fishing, Lake Michigan Salmon Fishing Charter, and a Trout Farm Fishery Experience.
Adventure Challenge
Grades 8 and Up

Sessions: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8
Think you have what it takes to conquer a Survivor-style challenge? Now’s your chance! Our Adventure Challenge Camp features thrilling events designed to test you both mentally and physically.
Past challenges have included “Barrel Boat Building,” “Human Foosball,” “Fire hose Lanyards,” and “4-Way Tug-O-War.” If you crave excitement and a serious challenge, you’ve found it. When you’re not competing, you can also enjoy all the great activities of Resident Camp.
